Hey y’all!

Im about to get my first Tundra here soon and I’m stoked! Only thing it needs is new tires! It’s a 2006 Limited double cab 4x4. Now I’m mostly going to be driving on street. I’d say about 80-90 percent street and the rest off-road. And, I’m not rock hopping. Just enough to get me up in the Sierras and Big Sur. What tires y’all thinking about? What would YOU do? Appreciate all the feedback!! Keep the Metal Heavy!

Since you're mostly on the street, I would recommend Michelin Defender LTX. They're super good in the rain and actually really good in snow due to the large amount of siping on them. They are most likely my next tire for my Sequoia (or Cooper AT3 4s - but those have mixed reviews). Not sure how they would do off road, but I've driven on multiple muddy gravel/dirt roads and have been decently fine on them (although that was in a Ford truck).

It’s hard to go wrong with KO2s. I’ve had them on Tacomas and Tundras. I find them to be really solid all around especially if you drive in Winter conditions like I do going to ski.
