Need to replace lower control arm bushings on 2000 LC w/ 175,000 miles. I can of course buy OEM or I was asking to see if there is an aftermarket company that makes a better product. Also, seeking advice on buying one of the after market "Bushing Kits" in Urethane or other material for all or mostly all of the bushings that can and at some point will need to be replaced. 175,000 and "knock on wood" No serious issues (expensive) in 17 years w/ maintenance at regular intervals. Have Extra heavy duty UME Suspension w/ bilstien shocks, Snorkel, TJM front bull bar & winch and Slee rear bumper and sliders. LC is heavy but appreciate all the help from you guys and gals. Recommendations on path to take and parts to order are always appreciated and followed from THIS forum! LC used as daily driver and trail off roading & expedition trips. NO heavy duty off-roading. LC is always parked and driven near or on the beach. LOTS of salty air which has added way too much rust over the years being based housed & living on the coast in Southern CA and trips to Baja CA, MX.

I need front and rear and am researching OEM vs aftermarket. I will keep you posted on what I decide and how it works. Toyota Land Cruiser OEM is the best IMO. Right now I would say depending on your additional weight of your LC and possible aftermarket heavier suspension and your off-roading style - may be the three main points to look at.
