Welcome.

I have an 'exhaust guy' that takes care of a lot of the trucks around here, and he just installes a generic, quite muffler, up and out of the way.

There is nothing speacial about any of them, unless you are looking for the rap of a glass pack....

Good luck!

yea! thats what i got. it sounds like an 8cyl.

Another vote for Flowmaster. Quiet but VERY nice tone. My .02. Good Luck!

Borla!

I picked up an all aluminum Borla on EGay. Origianl application was for UPS trucks. It was like $75 delivered and will last forever. Dual cased design.

3 for stock:). Long story short. I had a flowmaster installed and I had the hardtop and like the sound. People asked if it had a v8. It was not too loud but did have a nice tone to it. Top came off and I got tired of listening to the noise and had it removed. I went back to stock. I Like it much better. Now since you are up north I'm not sure how well it will hold up in the winter. I would go stainless if you can.

They are all stainless steel... still have a few remaining. :D

Magnaflow Turbo

Great low end sound and then quiets down as you move up the rpm band.

Affordable.

Flowmasters sound damn good. Not only that, but you can get them in stainless. The welded case with the 'sound deflectors' also adds some resiliency to crushing when your running trails. But hey, you could crush four mufflers from summit and still not be over the price of a stainless flowmaster. I run a flowmaster and love it. Before this, I ran a cherry bomb which was not only louder than my flowmaster, but really raspy and high pitched. But they are 30 bucks, not 80.
