Best aftermarket rear axle shafts?

I was having OEM rear locker issues, turns out the axle shaft on one side has twisted, in the splines. I'm hearing new factory is no longer available, what do you guys recommend to replace with? I'm running 36s.

I just installed Poly Performance 4340 Forged Chromoly Axles front & rear. They were recommended to me and they look good. I trust and respect the guy that recommended them ... so I purchased them and replaced all of my stock axles shafts...which are all in great shape. Just wanted the better ones in there.

I believe this is not correct. Call Cruiserdan to buy the axle shafts; rear, front, or stub. A few weeks ago, Dan said he sold Filmpros the last complete new axle assembly in the US. This means the axle housing with diff installed.

It is always better to ask Dan if something is available rather than assume they will never again be available. He found an oak DS visor for me several months after he posted they were all gone. Same with the good small oil filters.... he found a way to get them. There are other examples where he can pull rabbits from the hat where other dealers will not even try.

I have a friend who is a long-time cruiser guy and mechanic, but as you say there are other ways to get parts. Definitely wasn't talking to the Dealer!. BPassmore sent me the link to the used ones here in VA if that doesn't work out I'll contact CDan.
