That list is horse ****.

I dunno Greg, there's a lot of stinkers on there. When I was based in Newport, you could buy Narragansett for 50 cents a pint anywhere in town. Some of the worst beer I've ever tasted, and we couldn't get enough of it. Later when stationed at the Washington Naval Air Station, I'd buy Ballantine Ale at the DC Marine Corps liquor store for $2.99 a case. Actually it was damn good. I think. :o

That list is horse s***.

Because one of your favorites is listed #2?
;)

I'm guilty of drinking most of those....there are a few I'd still drink if I have no other choice. PBR being one of them.

Has anybody ever opened any of these beers with a pair of channel locks?
This thread makes me thirsty!

Well I can get you half of a well done how-to lesson. Subject-vidographer would have to release the full version. Thank lala for this bootleg.

Great intro. RYP needs to borrow it. I didn't like how one of the guys implied he invented the oatmeal stout. That is a craft beer staple. I'm afraid they need to increase their startup figures closer to 100k if they are going to succeed. I'd love to try their beer and wish them the best.

x2 on their startup capital. We have a local co-op brew pub that was initially capitalized by $100K, and that was barely enough. And their brewing operation is relatively small.

Once they begin brewing in Jackson, are they handcuffed by Mississippi's statutory ABV limit? Or is it different for brew pubs?

They're contract brewing through Lazy Magnolia's facility first to get money flowing before they start building a physical brewery. Also have some outside investors beyond the $ they are raising.

The ABV limit does apply to them for anything they sell in MS. Can't do a brew pub here either until the law changes (brew pubs can't distribute- they can only serve in-house).

I thought that 420 Pale Ale was good when I had some over Thanksgiving. How's the IPA?
