Bed & B in southern AZ?

Hey everybody. I know i need to introduce myself in the intro thread. My question for now is this......

My wifes B-day is coming up and i'd like to do something nice for her bday. Any cool bed and breakfasts or other cool thing to do in southern AZ? I've been in the Phoenix area for the last ten years and am just coming "home". I'm a little out of touch on where to go.

I stayed at this place once. It's not technically a B&B, but it's a really cool unique small historic hotel:

Does she like quirky stuff? If so, how about the Shady Dell in Bisbee? I've always want to stay there ... looks pretty neat:

Just around Patagonia there is: the Black Dove B&B, Circle Z Ranch, and in between Patagonia and Nogales there is the Hacienda Corona de Guevavi. This is on the Guevavi Ranch, home of some old Spanish Mission ruins, and also where John Wayne was a regular guest. Pretty nice area.

My wife and I did the Bisbee thing years ago. Stayed in a cool old house converted to a B&B. I couldn't tell you the name but it wasn't in the old part of town. If you go take the mine tour. It was fun.
Bisbee was cooler when I was missionary down there spreading the good word to the pot smoking hippie culture...i have stories...now I see it as a tourist trap.

Do a google search for Arizona wineries and there's some bed and breakfasts in the wine country of AZ- The area looks nice, rolling hills etc. and the B&B's looked very nice.

THEY GOT THE BEST #42 IN THE STATE! I know that to be fact. I've tried every #42 out there an there ain't no comparison to the #42 they serve there. Hell even the one up here ain't near as good at the #42 as the one down there.

Besides... only girls and homos drink wine.

I like wine and maybe I'm wrong, but the last time I checked I really liked women. Of course my preferred drink is ale or tequila, but there's nuthin wrong with a good Syrah or Pinot Noir or even a nice Chardonnay.

If you're still thinking of Bisbee, I saw on the travel channel this little motorlodge, where all the "rooms" are totally restored AIRSTREAM trailers, except for one, which is a whole trawler (shrimp boat) that sits by itself in a small garden. Each trailer has its own identity and it looked like a unique, fun, place to do stuff to your best friend.

Don't miss the vinyards in Elgin. There's a cool B&B in Sonoita too. Great little italian restaurant there also. Elgin is 15 min from Sonoita.
