The ad says it's a US model but I don't think Toyota shipped a 45 to the US market in the 70's at all. Perhaps it's Canadian. Let us know if you know what "K" stands for on the Model number when it comes to destination.

The other plate says "complies with applicable Federal...." but I agree, no 45's sold in U.S. after '67. Maybe made to certify emissions, but marketing decided not to import? Or Canadian, as you guess.
At last, though, we see one with the grille surround right side up!
I see several things that aren't "right" on that restoration.
I'm not sure if the price is right, but if it sells I might consider painting mine and listing it.
