I currently run 37"x 12.5 Truxxs Mt's on the OEM 16" wheels. They tuck great with just a little rubbing on the frame rail. I would like to get a slightly wider stance.

I need some new tires....So why not some new wheels. My oem's are getting beat. I am looking to run the same size and brand tire again.

I have my eye on these beadlocks. link below. They are 17x9 3.75 backspacing with -5mm offset.

So my question is what is the difference between my original and the ones listed??
I see it's .75" more back spacing but on a 9" wide wheel compared to oem 8"

Thanks in advance!

Your link doesnt take me to wheels but it might be my moble browser. The math doesn't seam to add up. A 9" wide wheel with 0 offset would have close to a 5" back spacing and put your tire exactly where the oem one was just with more buldge to the side wall.
Maybe this beadlock is being measured differently? A 3.75" back spacing on 9" wide wheel pushed your tire out 1.25" further than your oem 8" wheel 0 offset 4.5" backspacing.

Battle Born 4x4 | OFFROAD WHEELS

I just put a set of these wheels on my 80 in a 3.5" backspace with a 37x12x17 tire.

My fenders are cut front and back 2 1/2" lift to keep it low and I have some 1" coil spacers I need to put in the front still to level it out.

They are around 45 pounds if I remember right. @ExpoMax

Battleborn is about to release an aluminum wheel shortly as well.

So wheels tires probably weigh in the 125ish pounds. I definitely don't let the tires spin to much and then catch off-road..lol

Looks like misprint. It probably should read 4.75” backspacing. Link is no good. Try a screenshot.

Misprint. Even Procomp's own website has conflicting typos. I'd call their technical dept to verify. I'm guessing it should read:

PN PXA1185-7984 (17x9, 3.75" backspacing, -30mm offset)
PN PXA1185-7983 (17x9, 4.75" backspacing, -5mm offset)

Thanks for the info. I was playing around with the measurements on paper.. Seems the 3.75 would bump the wheel out approx. 1 1/4" from factory. 4.75 would not work. It would be even closer to frame by a little bit.

The 3.75" backspace would be perfect
