Let me just start off by saying this is a super solid truck. It is just breaking in as far as 3B’s are concerned. Personally, I haven’t seen another BJ60 of this vintage with this low of Kms. I bought this truck 5 or 6 years ago with 148000KMS on it. It was completely stock. The truck had very little Rust on it at that time. It had been garage kept and lovingly maintained since new (Bought right here in vancouver at Granville Toyota I have the delivery reciept with the original owners manual in the original pocket! ) The fellow that had it before me used the back pages of the manual to record every oil change and knuckle grease etc. that he had done. He was meticulous to say the least. Since then it has gone from being my DD to being my camping truck. In the last 2 years I have not put more than 2500Kms on it. It is time according to my FA to replace this truck with something slightly newer with more safety features. So Farewell BJ60, I will miss you greatly. I will gladly help long distance buyers in any way possible (photos videos etc.) Just let me know how I can help.

Here are some of the details...

OME Leafs, Shocks and Steering Stabilizer
ARB Touring Rack (Awning not for sale)
ARB Bull Bar (Winch Not for sale)
IPF Driving Lights (100w?)
Custom built rear shock mount bar
New Glow Plugs
Wilson Switch
Hitch
Aluminum Alloy Rims with BFG AT 33x12.5 ~85%
Diesel 42's Genuine Garrett Turbo Kit
Autometer Pyro & Boost Gauge in Custom brushed aluminum dash plate with space for 1 more
Valve cover gasket replaced, valves adjusted and injectors inspected ~3yrs ago
All new locks and keys (Maple Ridge Toyota)
New extended sway bar links and bushings
Brand New rear drums and shoes
EXTRAS:
New Front Brake Pads (Doesn't need these yet bought them to put on when The knuckles get rebuilt)
Complete Steering Knuckle rebuild kit (The knuckle seals are leaking)
New Head Gasket (Definitely doesn't need this yet. bought it just in case toyota stops making them)

The Bad:
The usual Oil seepage from the pushrod cover and oil pan. (doesn't drip)
Rad has a pinhole leak in the top. Not a big deal just needs to be soldered
Fuel tank has a very small leak also. I have never been able to find it as it is intermitent.
Some rust. rear fenders need a little work and the frame is rusted.
The outside C-channel of the frame is solid and rings all the way around but the inside C-channel is very rusty.
The tub has rusted through at the body mounts (see extra photos)
I have tried to keep up with the body rust with rustoleum and touchup paint.

Without the awning and the winch I have invested around $15,000 in extras. In total, I have over 29,000 invested.
The Truck runs solid never let me down in all the years Ive owned it.

Asking $9500 obo
No reasonable offer refused I need this truck GONE!

Some input would be nice. Am I way out to lunch on my price?
Added Photos of the Frame rust. The bracket in the photos is the exhaust hanger bracket nothing structural.

Bump.

I have wtb a bj or hj cruiser since my pos Chevy broke down...again. I would definitely like to see more pics and vid. Living in Colorado it would be a long haul to come and pick up. Guess that is the price I will have to pay to get a diesel Toy here in the states.

from that one photo, i'd say the frame is toast.

you are asking way too much - i'd not buy it unless i was prepared to swap in new frame - or move the drive-train to a new chassis.

The inside channel of the frame is not great and what I've shown you in the photo is the only spot that looks like that. The outside is still solid. It rings like a bell when you hit it with a hammer all the way around.

Um yea. No thanks. I'm not sure how that is even fixable. I've rarely seen vehicles with such bad rot on one part that is perfect everywhere else. If it is good I guess, but it still needs major surgery....

The inside channel of the frame is not great ...

Maybe post more photos of the inner frame, especially in the rear. In any case, 12K in the US can buy a no rust, locked and lifted cruiser in very good condition, without radiator and gas tank leaks.

So what's a more appropriate price? Would I be better off doing a frame swap and then selling it? I can get a really solid frame for 1500 but I imagine I'm looking at spending at least that much over again on the swap. So I guess my question to all of you folks is will I get that 3k back?

I appreciate all of the input. Thanks guys.
