Bay Area camping run. Selby Cow Camp, Carrizo

If anyone might be interested, I’m going to head to Carrizo Plain this weekend. Camping at Selby Cow Camp. That’s one of the free sites on the plain. I’m thinking about leaving home base about 12 noon tomorrow, so arriving down there about 6pm. Camp out one night, then some trail fun around the plain and depart for home Saturday night,

Man, I have a bunch of tasks in the backlog due to wheeling the past two weekends. I'll talk to my better half and see what she thinks.

I think so. I could get on the road by noon on Friday, so that would put us down in Carrizo about 4pm. Could do a little exploration and still get to the campsite before dark, or just head straight to the campsite to get all set up before sundown. There is a nice little hike to a nearby peak from Selby.
