Batwing / 270 Awning Mounting Pics

Searched, but didn’t find what I was looking for completely....

Mounted a batwing to my LC using Gamiviti multibrackets - works great. I get a little rub on the rear tailgate when opening. Curious if others have the same issue or if it’s just where I mounted it front to back and the use of the Gamiviti Batwing Adaptors keeping it so close to the vehicle.

Any pics of your setup would be great too!

I'm guessing you need to shift it forward.

Here's how I have mine set, and I can open open the hatch without contacting that pole.

Yours seems to be mounted much higher.....

And yes, looks like i need to shift quite a bit forward.

the height shouldn't matter once you get that hinge closer to the hatch line. Also, mine is a compact, so it's 19" shorter than yours (I didn't want to sticking out in front of my rack).

I’ve got the stock rhino bracket adapted to the oem tlc rack. It just brushes at the back. I can’t move it any more forward (light bracket), and the last horizontal Pole on the batwing traps the spoiler When the hatch is open.

I thought I took more but apparently didnt. If you zoom in on the 1st one, gate is open and up.


it opened fine both with the awning open/closed.

I did not look closely enough. Does the tailgate come close to hitting any of the support bars?

no. Doesn’t interfere. Open canopy then lift gate
