Ok resurrecting this old thread so see how some of you guys are doing with your batteries.

Mine is finally giving up the ghost. Survived a 1600 mile trip from NV to KS hauling a carload of crap in April ‘22 and has been my gf’s daughters main driver back and forth to school and work since. Survived one pretty cold winter here but has definitely been showing signs of going bad. The daughter killed it once at a hs football game with her friends and has since had it not want to start on her only once.

Only reason that I say it is going is earlier this year when it was bitter cold it definitely had a hard time cranking and last week when I had it at a shop to look at the AC to see what’s going on their multipoint show that it wasn’t holding charge well and on its way out. It is marked 6/19 and is a Costco interstate so thinking I may go with that again. No need for AGM but wondering if a 27F would give me better CCA for the winters here.

For posterity since you're resurrecting this thread, I went back to my log book and checked and then popped the hood on my LX 470. I have a Bosch group 27F with 750 CCA, manufactured 9/2018. I installed it in 11/2018, so I've had it for the better part of five years. I've had zero trouble with it. I even paid $129 for it, but that was back in the days before the pandemic.

As a side note, I have a DieHard Gold in my Subaru and a DieHard Platinum in my BMW. They are on the newer side, but I also haven't had any issues with those batteries either. The real mystery battery is the one that came in our used Sienna. No dates on it, I haven't a clue how old it is, but until it starts cranking slowly I don't care :)

Got to Walmart and get the EverStart Maxx. They’re good batteries and if you ever have a problem you’re probably not that far from a Walmart.
