Just got back from a trip to CO for a week, and my BJ42 was was dead in the airport parking lot - wouldn't start due to dead batteries. The batteries were recently replaced with fresh ones in Dec. I have a 'Solar Converter' installed, but had it disconnected while parked to prevent possible battery drain. My stock amp meter has never worked, so I can't tell if the system is properly charging or not. This seems to be an on-going problem... Should I be looking at replacing the alternator, the voltage regulator, or both.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions and advice.

you may not believe this but I've seen a few bad grounds be the culprit for me
