Can anyone give me a point of reference where the chassis end of the battery negative cable comes out of the wiring harness? I'm making new cables for my dual battery setup. I don't want to have to track the factory battery negative cable all the way down the wiring loom on the driver's side of the engine if I don't have to. Did a bit of Googling, but didn't find anything helpful.

Thanks!

Bump, as I have this exact same question and am waiting to replace my main ground.

if you look through diagrams you can get sort of an idea. But I don't know. I looked yesterday and couldn't find the end point. I just ended up re terminating the main ground with a 4 gauge lug. (the wire is a tiny bit bigger than true 4 gauge)
I'd still like to find the end of it though and re crimp at least.

Thanks, that diagram is helpful.. But it looks like the negative is grounded to the starter and then the block is grounded to the frame? At least, that is the area the wire in the diagram seems to go to... That would be annoying. Going to have to poke around some more, I guess.

Thanks! Yeah, that was what I sort of expected from the wiring diagram, above. Looks like I'll just have to crimp on a new lug, and go with it. :-(
