Bash plate for my LC

I installed an Ironman 4X4 front bumper with side rails and a winch last summer. I just added skid plates a few week ago. That’s when I realized bash plate wasn’t included(and missing) in the bumper/winch package that I bought from Ironman 4X4…but when I reached out to them(Ironman) they were not helpful.

Any help is appreciated

You need the bash plate. What kind of help are you looking for?
I am looking for a fitting badh plate for my LC, Ironman guys weren’t helpful.

I have done some research and looked around for LC200 bash plates, no OEM or aftermarket parts available in the US!

OEM stuff won’t work with that application. You need to find a way to get iron man to send you the correct parts as I’m sure it is the only stuff that will fit, short of having someone fabricate custom parts for you.

I have reached out to Ironman unfortunately they have been unhelpful. Their simple message: buy a new bumper, bash plate can’t by bought as an ala carte item.

Next time you see a Ironman setup with bash plate just take a couple of measurements and mock up with cardboard then fabricate. It's not rocket science.
Thanks a bunch, I will have it fabricated at a local body shop.
I guess not so many guys here have had this problem before

Thank God for discarded TV and refrigerator boxes. Metal shop may be more useful as it probably require a sizable brake. Take some pics and inspire others to not rely on reluctant vendors.

Hey RET2 many thanks, I will certainly take you up on that. Cheers

From the pic, the plate you are missing should come with the bumper. There still may have been a gap though. Ironman should have a transition piece though. Crazy that they work help you.

I have BB skids and TJM bumper and BB was happy to make me a transition plate. Cardboard is your friend. A local metal shop can make this for you easily.

Here is a link to my thread on this topic though it is specific to my TJM bumper.

Wow it's crazy that you waited a whole year to reach out to them about the bash plate. Only natural that would deny you a new one. At any rate lesson learned. Cardboard and trace out a new one for fabrication. Good luck

Oh great input, you did a great job with your rig. Thanks

I didn’t wait a year…i contacted Ironman as soon as I realized that piece wasn’t part of the skid plate.
The bumper was shipped directly to the body shop, The shop confirmed the bash wasn’t included.

My bad I read it wrong. Now that really sucks

Truly a lesson learned, Ironman offers no ala carte sale items so only option: order new bumper from them!! That’s not happening

Just seeing this, and that you are moving on other solution possibilities…

Can you tell us more about their handling of this? I keep seeing “unhelpful,” but can you elaborate on their reasoning/rationale for refusing to help in any way? I”m assuming they must get a big box from China and send whatever they get to their customers…so they have no parts (??)… but wow.
It would be pretty stunning if they wouldn’t do anything at all. If nothing else, they should open another box and send the missing part while they deal with the missing part rather than you. Can you describe the exchange in more detail?
