Awesome thanks guys. I saw a there's a thread in setting your own alignment, but haven't read through it yet. Is it doable and work ok? My alignment is wayyy off right now so it may be a lost cause trying to do it myself. It pulls to the left pretty bad when you let go of the steering wheel.
Really all you can set with hand tools is toe-in and toe-out. With a bigger tire, you want them slightly toed out (1/8" or so) to help prevent death wobble.
It's hard for a solid axle rig to pull hard one way or the other without having a bent axle housing, broken spring center pin (thus relocating the axle), brake issues, trunnion bearings going bad, wheel bearings going bad, or something else wrong. They will wander to one side or the other depending on the crown in the road, but if you are pulling hard one way, you probably have something more serious than just a simple alignment going on.
Also how much lift with the long AAL give me?
Not a lot. Probably an inch or so, but it will help with the weight of the winch and bumper.
