The Rally will be at the Kern River Parkway on Truxtun where it was last April. Take the California Ave. exit and go west 1 mile to Mohawk. Hang a right (North) on Mohawk a quarter mile to Truxtun. Hang a left on Truxtun and IMMEDIATELY get in the right hand turn lane and turn into the Kern River Parkway. Rally will be on April 18 from 9am to 2pm.

Just spoke to Andy about this last night.

The pig will be there sportin' her new Alcan's.

So can you tell me about this? I've never done a rally before, I have no idea what to expect.

Is this an offroad rally?

thanks

Come on up and visit ! The rally is more of a show and shine, Swap meet, Picnic get together kinda thing. Lots of fun and lots of cruisers and usually some vendors also.

Hi, this is Andy in Bako and I don't know if it is an official rally but it is our 7th annual. We started years ago with 17 cruisers showing up, a lot of confusion and wonder. Now we are up to about 40 cruisers coming, some vendors, and a lot of people with questions and some looking for parts in other peoples garages. Come and look around. It is always fun!

I never heard of this before, I will be there.:) I Haven't been around many cruiser owners since I left Oxnard, This will be fun.:D

Andy,

I will be making the two hour drive south for the third year in a row.
Looking forward to spending a day at the park, and seeing everyone.
Thanks again for getting us all together.

Is there going to be room for the swap/sale of parts I have heard yes and no? Can we park tow rigs near by ( within a block or so) I dont really have room in my 40 for the parts I would like to bring.

I spoke with Andy today and he said that because of limited area for the event, the area is not large enough for full sized trucks with trailers to turn around.

anybody need anything brought down there or back up to norcal?

OOOH no room to turn a truck and trailer around.... Maybe I'll leave my rig at home. I don't really want to though.
