As we all know accidents can happen in a blink of an eye and can happen at any moment. We always get asked the million-dollar question “Hey we got into an accident and my Baja Designs light took a hit”. What can I do? Depending on the severity of the accident in most cases, the BD light walks away with minor cosmetic damage or damage to the housing. Baja Designs WARRANTY does not cover accidents or acts of god. In most cases, the lights are still salvageable for a paid repair. Depending on the parts and the model the prices may vary.

This Baja Designs customer was able to salvage all the Internals and came in for a paid repair on new lenses and a new housing. Thankfully no one was hurt in the process of the accident and the customer was able to reuse the light on another vehicle. This is a Prime Example of the quality and standards you get when buying a Baja Designs light.

Even though a paid repair is always an option in some cases the entire light will have to be replaced due to the damage. Here is an example of a light that will not qualify for a paid repair. The light on the left is a brand new light and the light on the right is a light that will not qualify for a paid repair. Please always make sure to Call us directly at 760-560-2252 and see if you qualify for a paid repair first.
