My power steering gearbox was leaking where the steering column attaches to the box.

I removed and disassembled the box and found that the worm gear bearing immediately beneath the adjustable cup is damaged.

It is a set of 11 ball bearings held together by a steel race somewhat like an old bicycle wheel bearing. The steel race has come apart.

Does anyone know where to get this bearing - or an interchange? It's #41 in the picture. SOR shows "not in stock" and wants $51.

Thanks

90369-22004 appears to be the Toyota part number. ToyotaPartsDirect.com has it for $45, but if you search around, you might be able to find it cheaper.

EDIT: Check out toyodiy.com

That site is a real lifesaver. It's so much easier giving the guys at the stealership a part number, instead of trying to explain to someone who orders mostly running boards and TRD floormats, what a shear pin for a PTO winch is.
