Bad alternator? (3 Viewers)

When the battery voltage on my Sniper display reads 12.3 - 12.5 volts and flashes yellow, does this mean that the alternator isn't charging the battery?
Mine does that at an idle. I’ve tried a new regulator new alternator always same result. I believe it is just the amount of amp draw at idle. No need to worry

I think what you described above is normal. I run a Dakota Digital in an otherwise stock 1968 and has a volt meter vs. ammeter. And yes, sometimes it’s up around 14 volts, and sometimes at 12 volts….depending on the battery state of charge.
