Anybody ever notice a difference in the backing plates between a 1990 22RE and a 1994? Just put a 1990 plate on a 1994 block and the lower holes do not line up. Will measure spacing on bell housing tomorrow as well.

Just seemed a bit weird when the backing plate wouldn't line up on some of the holes. Never had this issue before, with several other blocks. This is the newest block I've had. I think it is a 1994.
