I am a firm believer that there is a tool for every job. The correct tool for removing the rear section of a 4runner's body is NOT a high speed cutting wheel.
If it had like a 9 inch disk it might be ok but the little one i have can't cut deep enough to get through all the layers in one pass I am having to take it apart in sections. I am tempted to for up the hot wrench but my luck I am going to cut a fuel line and burn down my shed.
Have not tried on a grinder.
This is where i planned to make my cut, the more i look at it though if i cut right aftrr the bodymout behind the seats

Started bending up what will be my dash panel. I figured I was a big guy and would be able to handle the manual Bender no problem. What a fool I am. And to to it of I realized where I mounted my Bender I can only bend half a stick at a time. Going to measure and see if I can rotate the base 90 degrees in the morning. at any rate I am going to be buff by the time I finish this.
Must be a 4Runner thing for raccoon to show up while working on these trucks ;p This little guy was helping me get my red truck running.
