 looks great Josh, safe travels bud. Albert is first class in my book now he should let us return the favors and help him get ready for Moab ;)

I can do what I can, you know anything he is lacking?

Lacking:
Diffs install, axles assembled, brakes bled, bumpers painted/ reinstalled, fluids topped off, engine tunning, sliders welded on, and thats just what I could see from a quick visit.:deadhorse:

Yea that’s pretty funny but accurate John.

Josh have a safe and fun trip, glad to help , you didn’t forget to put fuel in the 4runner? Also you dont have any wasp in the front part of your frame any longer. The cutting torch got rid of them

Lol of course I forgot. Kept putting It off because the fuel tank was on the opposite side from the towrig, hopped in to get it off the trailer and I was like FFFUUU........

Never knew I had wasps.

That's why I carry a spare 10 gallons on the back......to help a brother out. Oh, and this time I brought a gallon of antifreeze, a couple quarts of oil, a quart of gear oil and some break fluid. You just never know which hose may decide to spontaneously combust out on the trail......

Holy crap, almost exactly a year from my last pointless post in this thread.

I had to look twice at past post dates this seems to be the time of year you get motivated bud, LOL.

instead of time of the month. for Josh---------- its time of the year:D

Git all the wiring ahead of the b pillar stripped. Having a Hell of a time getting the ac out though.

Riding to the city to pick up some new guages and a few switches. Not sure if I am going to bother with a tachometer or not.

More progress. The 4runner has lost alot. Soon to loose more.

Ipicture of the new totally stripped dash. Was given a diamond plate toolbox with no lid and no bottom I will be cutting up to make a new guage panel.

Mostly decluttered engine bay, still got to get rid of all the heater hoses.

Where I am thinking I am going to cut the body once I find my pneumatic disk cut off thingie.

ForumRunner_20120602_124411.webp

And a disappointingly small pile of parts by the road. Only things not in the pile are the doors and the grill.

ForumRunner_20120602_124251.webp

Sorry. Pictures are out of order. Please use your imagination.

Also have something pretty neat planned for the cage that I am not sure I have ever seen done before.

I said left from not left on:)

It is going to be influenced by the f-toy, But more along the lines of just a fun buggy. The problem is the further I get in it the further I want to take it.

Josh, how is the 4Runner coming along? :poof:I know there has to be more than just John S. modifying his rig. You have some sheet metal left on it?
