Congrats everyone on a great turnout and fantastic time at Coal Mine. Unfortunately we need to refocus a bit on business at hand to get things where they need to be. We have 3 items to address and please reply if you have the answers or want to initiate answers:

1) we need to zip up this raffle truck. Late summer is a much lighter work time of year for me. We need to get a work detail together on an upcoming Sunday or weeknight ASAP. Next two Sunday's are good for me and with notice any week night can be arranged. We are planning to pass the keys in 3 months, so we better get crackin.

2) 3 months til the Fall Crawl raffle. We need some participation to help solicit raffle Donations. Stump is going to do all of it himself out of pride of commitment and that is Bull****, so let's get some people helping out.

3) We absolutely need to get online raffle ticket sales going ASAP. Can we get a report on why that is not up and running yet, and a status on how and when that is going to happen? It's the backbone of the whole success of the raffle, and if we can't get that happening soon, we are not releasing the truck this Fall. We are not reaching the minimum sales without it. We sold 40 tickets at coal mine, and pretty much milked the entire population. Person to person sales are great, but not gonna get us to the 750 ticket minimum, which I believe is our bare minimum to execute the raffle.

Agreed, we also only have one more issue of Toyota Trails before the scheduled drawing so we had better get an ad design to Todd Kaderabek in the next few weeks or we will miss that boat as well.

Ed and I need to get the final pieces of the electrical sorted out, including the fuel solenoid. The vacuum tubing needs to be installed so that the truck is running when we take it to Murphy's for the exhaust. The rest can be buttoned up in an hour to two.

I will be tied up moving my daughter to Roanoke on Saturday, but should be able to sneak away on Sunday for a few hours.

That ad has to make it into Toyota Trails. If that is what Mark Cavitch was supposed to do for us, we should pull the plug on that and move on to plan B. He is not reliable enough to risk missing the deadline. Can't we just send in a version of the placards we use for
in-person sales? That should work fine, and can be done quickly. We just need to add the info for online sales. We need someone in the know to report on the status of that. I believe it's Bart, but Patrick also has a pretty good handle on that, and could possibly spearhead a push to get it done.

I will either get donated or pay for a graphic design for the trails ad. Who can send me the PDF of the tix?

I will post up some options if you give me the go ahead

That is a great offer and thank you very much. I'm sure the go ahead will be green lighted. stale beer should give his blessing soon.

Brian,
PM your email address and I'll get the following graphics to you ASAP.

TLCA has agreed to run the ad for free since they are a beneficiary

One last thing that needs to happen is the online sales. We can't complete the ad without online sales info. Whoever is completing this, please either pm me the info, post it up, or email me at BK at ENGSOLN.com

Anyone know if tlca donated a full or half size ad?

I have the dimensions and specs that I sent to Mark. I'll get them over to you. Do you have someone to do it? If not, and we are willing to pay for it, there is someone I use through work who does good work.

We are taking care of it....thanks though!

Does anyone have a hi-res photo of the raffle truck they can send to me? Needed for the online sales site.

please cc me on the photo as well bk at ENGSOLN.COM

make sure to announce when the online tickets are available. Ill def buy some!

We don't have good photos, but we need that site up yesterday. can we add photos later?

I agree with Sour Ale. Use the swap meet photo for now and get that site up. The raffle truck needs a decent cleaning and detailing to present any better than the photo we already have. That's gonna take a few guys and some time and we can't wait for that.

I asked for an update on the progress of the site development this morning and received an autoreply that he would be not be back until Monday. I'll give a report when I get an update.

Thanks for the update Bart.

Bart, I emailed to you the hi res pic for the webpage.
