Back seat hold up straps

Any body else had this problem ... The third row seats when they are folded up. The straps that are supposed to hold them are proving to be useless. The velcro always comes loose. Anybody have any solutions?

I have the same problem with mine. The seats flop around when turning and on rough terrain... Thought about throwing some bungee cords around them, but wouldn't look very clean. Interested to see if anyone has a good solution.

Hey TXLX100, I looked at your link, but it seemed like everyone was just re-sewing the old hook & loop pieces back on. It should be noted that there are many kinds of hook & loop out there.
Check out this page in Mc Master-Carr:

• Marine Grade
• Self Gripping

Along with a variety of colors to choose. Note, it doesn't have to be from Mc Master-Carr, as there are a plethora of companies out there, but for me Mc Master-Carr is usually the quickest and easiest.

One user had an upholstery shop install snaps, an idea which I like and think will outlast Velcro. As with anything else on a car, when it wears out replace it with new usually fixes the problem. I used some higher grade Velcro I had laying around and stapled it to the belt as a temporary solution.

Velcro from McMaster-Carr? wth? Don't be afraid of being a girly-man, just go to your local fabric shop or upholstery supply, and bust out the woman's sewing machine and an extension cord...

But when I need my second row seats up, it's kind of a hemorrhoid (read: annoying pain in the butt)...

I like this best. Did you just punch some small holes through to start? Doesn't look like rocket science to put them together lol...
