Anyone have a picture of one mounted in a 94 80? I am having a little bit of trouble finding a suitable location to mount mine.

Working on the same thing for my 96. Let me know if you come up with anything.

Hey are you using Metri Pack 280 tangless terminals with cable seals and cavity plugs? Curious if this thing is really IP66. Also, the biggest relays I've found for the micro footprint are 35amp. Are there bigger ones out there? Would like to use one relay for the radiator fan without melting it (relay).

Any insight is appreciated!!!

If your fan draws more than 30 amps, you should use a larger relay or solenoid.
a continuous duty solenoid is a good idea since it avoids pushing the limit of the panel. how are you sealing terminals receiving two wires like those on relays getting switched on by ignition?

@slcfj62 , are you still making these? Sorry, I could not find pricing info. I need one for my 100 series. I believe it is switched ground but need to look at wiring diagrams to make sure.

Hey I think he is still making these. Think it was like $95 shipped CONUS or something like that. A killer price. My CJ is getting one 10 and another 5 relay panel. Every chassis circuit except for the fan is running through them so now thinking about how they'll be sealed in the back

How do you seal terminals with more than 1 wire? I'm thinking about relays that are switched by the same source like ignition. Is there another bus distributing ignition to each relay or are you jumping them from relay to relay? Hoping there's a seal that can accommodate two wires out there... Your experience is much appreciated!!!

This bussman box is great because it has several relays and fuses using sealed metripack 280 terminals all for dirt cheap. When wiring this box up with more than 1 wire per seal you end up losing the IP66 waterproof rating which is a huge reason why 4x4 enthusiasts like it. Haven't heard back from

slcfj62 so guess you're busy or choose to not let folks know that the panels aren't living up to their intended IP66 rating. For the price it's still a great kit though

1. Submerging under water overnight and IP66 are two different things.

2. You changed your response.

3. Wiring isn't rocket science.

4. I'll find an efficient way to solve my problem while keeping IP66.

No it isn't rocket science. Well, maybe for some. Being overly concerned with keeping IP66 compliance indicates you are not asking questions about a personal build, but are in business and wish to advertise IP66 compliance because it sounds impressive. Your persistence in asking the question indicates that you haven't figured it out yet and want me to solve your problem. Hence my desire to not reveal trade secrets.

Yes, I did change my response which you so bravely reposted. Perhaps you would care to divulge the truth about why you are here on this forum and asking the questions you are asking? And yes, all my panels are IP66 compliant. Since most folks would have no idea what that means, I don't bother trumpeting it around. What most folks care about is whether the thing is dust proof and water resistant.
