Just got my 86 4runner left toys for to long back now my question is iv got auto hubs and there very hard to get to disingauge are they worth fixing or sould I go to manual?

man you should be glad there are Hillbilly's on here, in my humble opinion (IMHO) NO.

but it all depends on what you use or do with your truck. so we here on Mud need more info to help you out.

oh and welcome to mud :flipoff2:!

Go aisin manual hubs. Much better than the autos. If they are hard to disengage just go in reverse and they will pop out. That's a downside of the hubs when wheeling.

Ya evem when I back up there still hard to get out iv never had autos on the hunt for some asians anybody got some?

PM orangefj45, that is where I got my IFS hubs for my 86 4runner. I just swapped mine out 10 days ago.

Wabfab carries them. Expect to pay alot for them unless you can find them in a junkyard or on CL.

I believe parts for the auto hubs are hard to find and spendy.

Thanks im on the hunt for manuals I try to put pics soon as I can taking it wheeling for first time this weekend see if I tear anything up.
