Hello wanted to know if anyone here has a Australian GX version; I do know is has some extra features or actually striped out options also. but basically it still s a 200 series yes??

I have an Aus GX, Japan AX, and Euro AXG in the stock yard right now. What is that you want to know? Also on my system RHD models are actually labeled as TLC202 series.

Another site that is big on the TLC's down under is www.lcool.org you need to sign up to view the board though.

hello basically they are a stripped down version with larger fuel tanks yes?? still same transfer case, crawl control etc???

The 200 GX in Australia has the following changes. It's primarily aimed at mining companies and farmers and the entry model.

1)Ships with factory Snorkel
2)Carpet replaces with vinyl flooring
3)5 seats only
4)Split, side opening rear doors
5)Key ignition
6)No navigator
7)Steel 17" rims
8)No curtain side airbags I think.
9)No KDSS
10)dumbed down instrument panel ( same as GXL - no optitronic thing)

It retains the twin turbo V8 diesel, auto, transfer case, 138l ( 36 gallon) dual tanks, crawl, Traction control etc.

It's amazing how badly I want a "stripped down" version of the 200 series. Maybe one day...

thanks for the info hey brossum why would you want a stripped down version? I would only want a strip one cause it would cost less and be more affordable, you already have one

I could do without some of the bells and whistles on the US version and would gladly trade them for that diesel. Maybe it's just a case of the grass being greener on the other side of the fence (or the Pacific Ocean, in this case).
