Thanks for checking in but I'm sad to say the 40 has been on the bench for a while. We are moving back to Adelaide so it's all been packed up and ready to go on a flatbed to it's new home as soon as we work out where that will be!

Sorry to hear about your spring and shock problems.

Over the years I've bought 2 sets of aftermarket springs.

The first set was for my 1965 series 2A landrover and they were so stiff that I might as well of had zero suspension! Like an idiot, I compressed the springs just to be able to refit my shocks too. (And when I bought these springs I said nothing about wanting "lift".)

The second set was for my 1979 BJ40 and I ending up reselling them at a massive loss rather than fitting them (including all the associated shackles, pins and bushes).
