Hell, who needs fire in this heat. Just pick the closest black rock and you got your cook-top.

Just finished sanding the boat and giving it a coat of spray paint. Even in the shade the paint is drying before it hits the aluminum and the nozzel is constantly gumming up. Lots of splatter i will have to sand out. I think tomorrow I will top coat it with something thick and long to dry - like Tremclad.

Oh, you paint, that's good to know.

Where is the highway turn off point for Wipsaw and is it marked.
Is it fishable

A couple of my buddies are just on their way back from the Whipsaw (they left Tuesday), and they said it was nice and cool (low to mid 20's) and even on the road out towards the Coquihalla it was 26 degrees. They said it was beautiful up there, very green with lots of flowers, so it doesn't sound too bad after all.

I think we're gonna do the trip - I think Chehalis will be an oven camping out on the beach there. By the way, apparently the way out to the Coq. is not a good option - there is a bridge out. My buddies had to turn around and come out Coalmont way.

Wow, even with the extra storage space of my freebie rooftop storage box, I'm still running out of room.
Camping was so much simpler oh those many years ago. I can't imagine attempting to do it now in my fj40.
I gotta get a trailer soon, but then I'd probably fill that up, and the truck as well. It's like some weird physics law, the more room you have, the more crap you seem to bring.

It's the kids, dude. You'll get used to it. :D
