Is it Dinner at ABC again, guys? And what time?

Bruce is planning on meeting up with us for dinner, so we'll need specifics. And I can never remember what time we usually have it.

We have a bunch of stuff to discuss tonight about Cruiser Days 2005. Most of the big stuff are taken care of...just minor details left.

I've also had a proper plaque made up to recognize the Best in Show Cruiser. Gar is taking care of the Rusty but Trusty award. :D In the subsequent shows, we will have more categories...but I thought that we should at least have these two traditional ones for our first show.

Hope to see you all there!

We started out at the fabulous ABC Restaurant on #3 Road at 6:00 pm and had
some pretty terrific meals.
We reconvened at LCI clubhouse at 7:30 with about 18 members present: Traci,
Allstone, Mike Nyiri, Steve, Garr, Jim & Lindsay, Phil, Martin, Mike
McTague, Barry, Chris, Bill, Rob Millson, Gary T, Jeff, Rod, and two new
members Bruce Davie and Marcin Cichy, plus guest Simon.

The main topic of the evening was the Cruiser Days event for Saturday, Aug
13. Volunteers are asked to arrive by 8:00 am at North Surrey Secondary at
160 St and 96 Ave. Most people now know their duties and we expect to pack
up between 2:00 and 3:00 pm. We can always use more volunteer help. The
Cruiser Days Raffle tickets will sell for $5. each or $10. for 3. The
T-Shirts will cost $15. each to the general public. After the event, Garr
will be leading the Cruisers up to North Chehalis Lake campsite in the Poo
Wagon in the late afternoon.

The monthly club raffle offered a florescent light, Jim won a box of Chevron
Lithium Grease, and Martin a tow strap. Mike McTague didn't win anything, in
spite of buying lots of tickets.

Also discussed was a proposed mid-week BBQ run up Eagle. Talk to Rob for
details.

Also there may be a September 20 Run to North Oregon. Talk to Steve for
details.

As for the Labour Day Weekend, there was not much enthusiasm shown at the
meeting. So, unless that changes, you will have to make your own plans.
Someone suggested Washington State, but the lineups at the border may be
prohibitive.
