Hey y'all,

I'm looking into getting my first Land Cruiser. I have set my sights on picking up a 100 series specifically in Atlantis Blue Mica. In my opinion it's the best color but unfortunately that color is hard to come by. Condition and maintenance history matters more than mileage. I would like to keep it under $15,000 if possible but if the truck is worth it I can afford some wiggle room. I'm based in Illinois but I don't mind traveling a bit to find the right LC especially if it's clean. I've scoured Autotempest, Craigslist, FB Marketplace and haven't quite found what I'm looking for so figured I would reach out here to see if there's anything out there.

If anybody has any leads or suggestions that would be much appreciated!

The vin they provide, JTEHT05J242065661, doesn't pull up in vehcilehistory.com, so I don't know if it's legit or not.

UNAFFILIATED (I suggest checking closely for corrosion. I see the undercarriage pictures but they seem a bit too black for me and there's signs of broken bolts on the skid plate and corrosion in the engine bay):

With a saddened heart I am putting my Atlantis Blue Mica 04' Land Cruiser up for sale. There has been extensive work and maintenance with this vehicle and has been across the country with me. Frame is clean. I also have paperwork for the mountain of extensive maintenance done. Let me know if you need to see something specific. Photos show timing belt and recently had the abs assembly replaced. Mods include a Eibach 2.5” lift, nitto 34s around 17” fifteen52 turbo Mac HD wheels, prinsu roof rack and asfir skid plate. I am selling because I am starting to commute to SD and I need something smaller with better mpg :(. Drives Great no issues, great history, would benefit from new bushings and new CV boots, not axles, and possibly a repainted hood since it's flaking...like most Toyotas...

Thanks! Hmmm the corrosion in the engine bay and rear spare tire area is interesting.
 
Is that rust an issue. Just asking for future reference, I’m looking at purchasing one as well not necessarily this color but trying to get an idea of how much rust is an issue.
