Did Jack not get a new nickname when he ran over the outhouse up on top of that hill?

Has that story ever leaked out.................. :ban:

I'm all ears..eyes, tell the damn story.
Butch

After Mace "maced" the hill, we had all gathered to watch the events with beer and other means of impairment. While the repair was going on Jack and I jumped into his rig for a quick trip to camp at the Springs to get some other goodies.
Jack relied on me to get him down the hill at the crash site due to too much Tumwater for the day.
I had been awake for 36 hours plus the addition of 87 beers and all the excitement of being there.
We got down the embankment to where it was safe to turn around, I jumped back in the 45 just as we rolled into the worst outhouse at the Springs............

While not a fecal fountain, it did give up the ghosts of way too many campers and wheelers from years of abuse.
Merlin and his dog came running to investigate.
Jack and I were literally in the dog house as we picked up and propped up the remains of that satellite.

After all the laughs, pats on the back, and more beer, Jack got the new name of Jack s*** emblazened on his bumper......

Mace you look like a fat woman milking a cow in this pic...............

I saw the Shed Guy's pics of his old truck with 38.5's and it lit a fire under me. I immediately bought a set on sale, so did Hammerhead. Then we got cold feet. We decided we couldn't cut up our trucks that much.

CHICKEN!!! :flipoff2: :flipoff2: :flipoff2:

I cut up spare front fenders,a nd kept originals, and made sheetmetal tubs for the rear, yes the pan is cut out, to suit the lobger wheelbase as well, but its still all cruiser :flipoff2:

I honestly can't imagine why you would want to do that to a Cruiser. Such a waste of a classic truck to modify the sheet metal that much.

Anyhow, I feel that I can build a Hendrix Chasis with the drivetrain of my choice for about the same money I am currently into my FJ40. Maybe a little more. Maybe a little less.

i just helped a very good friend of mine with a hendrix chassis buildup. his was the first one up and running and is featured on their website. think you're gonna save money?! well, guess again. we did all the work ourselves, from fab to engine assembly and it still cost over $20k by the time it was ready for the trail. then again, he went with 2 front HP dana 60s and full hydro steering, but we got the axles for a great deal, along with the 44" swampers on beadlocks. probably have less than 4K into all that including the rebuild parts for them.

read that if you're serious about doing a tube frame rig. and get ready to spend some time and $s. not trying to discourage anybody here, just want you to know what you're getting into.

If you learn to drive you won't flop your rig.

There is no need to drive places that a stock rig can't go..

You drive my stock rig, I'll drive yours. Lets go see if we can get up that trail you broke yours on, on the " Gambol". I'm serious.

Pardon me for elevating Texican's trailer queen to real truck status. I meant Kowboy.

My truck is far from a trailer queen, I was kinda cautious with the paint for the first couple of years, in fact I will drive it anywhere at any speed you want to follow...........damn............. call me a sumbitch but don't confuse me with Kowpoke

Amigo, your truck with a locker and 33's would do the trail that I broke on just fine.

In fact my 72 on 31's will do it just fine as well.

I broke on a brand new line ;)

And I think you might be taking what I said too seriously. I was kidding around the entire time ;)
When I read that I was thinking of right after Butch got his truck painted... He barely even took the bunny trails for fear of scratching it :)

Kowboy's pucker factor would be huge if he ever rolled ;)
