Well it is time to sell my Fj40 as we just don't get it out and use it anymore. We had a lot of fun with it years ago while at Cruise Moab events. Most all of the work that is referenced below was done by Jereimiah back in the days of Proffitts Cruisers now known as Proffitts Resurrection Land Cruisers. Here's what she's got: TBI 350 (runs great), Turbo 350 (shifts great), Art Carr shifter, Atlas transfer case (all good), front and rear ARB's (all good) but needs a new air compressor, power steering (strong), High Steer, custom rear 4 link suspension- centered rear diff and minitruck inner rear and brakes, front spring over with Longfield Birfields, 39.5x13.5x15 Iroks (need replacing as they are old and won't balance any more), Five MRW 15" steel wheels, custom tubed front fenders, warn winch, whats left of a soft top perfect for shade and that surprise rain, soft half doors and metal half doors. $10,000 OBO
The air compressor that we ran for years and years was out of an old Cadi. It was used for the air ride in it. This worked great and still works but isn't the prettiest thing, so I would probably replace it. The air tube running from the compressor to the tank needs replaced.
The tires have a fair amount of tread left but are just old so there is some cracking going on. I tried to have them re-balanced but was told they can't do it. Sooo it gets a little wild when driving on the highway when she starts to hop.
Of course there is rust, the rear fender wells and along the back floor where along the cross support.
Please let me know if you have any questions about it.
Thanks for your interest.
