I can't get over the wind out here right now. Luckily I think my parking plan is paying off. I lined the east side of my driveway with my dodge, accord and garbage cans. So far, my whole driveway with the exception of my garage apron is still bare, Hopefully come tomorrow I wont hardly have to shovel.

I dont think ive shovelled in 2 years. Ive got 4wd and jenn has learned how to use momentum.

Harden the fxxx up.

Pretty fawked up out there right now, neighbors shed is having structural integrity problems. I think he borrowed my post-hole digger last year and I never got it back. Now's my chance, sorry your house and and shed are failing, but .... isn't that my post hole digger?

Had the boy make a futile attempt at shoveling. It was drifted over in a few minutes. Nice sized drifts are forming against my fence and garage. Lots of thunder and lightening up my way. I'll be up early and start heading to work.

I woke up to this today.

This is the result of over 17 inches of snow and 60 mph winds. Lots of thundersnow last night. Expecting 3-5 more inches of lake effect snow today. This is a top 5 storm for us.

The entire length of Lake Shore Drive is closed with 100+ cars abandoned on it, I-80 closed for several miles, A 20 mile stretch of Rt 59 is closed.

I got a light reprieve today. Instead of going to 61 and Racine for work I have to report to my office instead. It should take me about an hour to take a 6 mile drive.

Bill believes in "plowing" our drive with the
skinny pedal too! ;)

Harden the **** up.

I normally don't either, but I'd be willing to bet that even with momentum you aren't getting the camry in and out of the driveway with almost 2' of snow. I ended up with everywhere from 10-30" in my driveway, and neither Dana's mustang or the accord were moving in that.

It's flippin' nuts out there. Too many stuck cars to count. This morning went well. It took just about 30 minutes to get in to the office. Got my marching orders from the Area Deputy and was pretty much hanging out at the district desk doing accident reports. I figured I did close to 25 of them and we had 6 guys doing just reports. It was my first time doing an accident reports in years. The Boss cut me loose at 3 and I headed home. Nothing but arterial streets are open. Some side streets haven't been traveled so I'm heading out now to do a little drift bombing. Everything was shoveled by my bride and son so no shoveling for me! Time to go play!

Pusher shovel is the wrong shovel for this s***....I hurt.

I took the 4runner out this morning to see whats what. No shoveling required. Most of my neighbors were spending hours digging out their cars. I just hopped in and blasted through the 3-4 ft plow/drift at the end of the driveway, and waved at them as I drove away.

Tons of abandoned cars. Lots of fun to be had, but I havent gone out again. Im bored out of my mind, sitting on my couch, watching groundhog day.

We're watching old 70s cop shows on Netflix. Watched Rockford Files. Now Columbo.

Watched some Greg the Bunny too.
