And :flipoff2: you guys, I'm still around, I've just been slammed at work for the last few months. I do try to check in here from time to time, but haven't had time to post.

That's good to hear!

Hey Phil, still plan on doing this? I told a buddy about this that lives in CA and he's also interested.

Yes I will still put a trip together south of the border but Im in the middle of switching vehicles. Once I have something to drive down I will repost.

Thanksgiving is one of the busiest weekends down at the RV park in Rocky Point so my guess is no availability.

I will keep you posted.

Hey Phil,

I'd be very interested in any beach trip south of the border...facilities or not. Thanks, let me know how I can help

Im thinking December would be a good time, enough time for everyone to set plans to go, and get their vehicles together. Is this a run along the border, or down into Mexico to a beach, or both. Either one im in, already have a passport. How many days do you think? Whatever ideas you got floatin around in your head, please share. Im excited for a trip like this.

has anyone heard from big D lately?

Smartass! Smooches to you too.;)

That's good to hear!

Grassy-ass mi hermano! There was a point last week where I almost picked up the phone and put out a call to you and your smartass cohort above; to see if you guys could come help out. Anyway... we powered through it, and the truck loads for Vegas on Wednesday.

Tripadvisor reviews

:cool:Tiss the time of year. We should consider something with some services first to get more people interested and do a day trip so you know what you are getting into. Do you have a current passport? Kids under 16 need only a certificate of birth.

RV park $22/day (kid safe)- water, showers, power, and flushing toilets
If paid in advance I can get a group area

There are some pretty harsh reviews of the hotel on tripadvisor, but I suspect if you bring your hotel room with you, its all good. Wife and I just got a new to us class A, and we're thinking about doing some fairly close tripping - any actual experiences on the place?

(And, yes - we're thinking about getting the FJ60 setup as the toad. That should be an interesting look) :)
