Looking at player stats, I was surprised to see how poorly Palmer has played in the few playoff games he's played in.
1 playoff win in only 4 total games over three seasons. TD-5, INT-7. Not sure we shouldn't be looking for options before 2018.
I know, what's out there...

Appears they will target one in the draft but who and when is the big question.
Mahomes seems to be a name that keeps coming up. Hopefully our track record of quarterback draft picks falls into our favor this year.
If we had a Crystal ball we could've snatched up Dak Prescott last year. The name alone should've been a clue!

Trickiest position in the NFL to guess who will be able to make that rare transition successfully.

There are lawyers, liars and statisticians. Stat can lie. Before seeing Palmer up close, I might have called him a prima Donna that can't win the big game. After watching him with the cards, he's a tough hombre. This is a team game, play off performance is not a fair indictment on any qb.

That said, someone has to take his place.....

Draft starts this Thursday, curious to see how it unfolds for the Cards

Wow, heard Darryl Washington was reinstated :hmm::eek:

Lol! heard that from a text from my son today. I'd bet money he is in no condition to do anything about it (has anyone seen him? I picture Charles Barkley).

Indeed, comparisons to Von Miller. QB in the 2nd round...Web from Cal maybe?

2nd round:
Trading up to get Buddha baker from WA arguably one the best safeties in the draft. Look like another honey badger to me. Worth the trade up in my opinion

On paper, a great draft. Mostly versatile guys, a couple potential steals. No qb but nobody exciting this year. Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing them pick up Krapperprick and see if BA and Moore can reclaim his dumb ass.

Just watched some youtube on the qb undrafted free agent Trevor Knight. Former OU and Texas A&M qb

Wow, this guy has some wheels on him

Not much of an arm from what I heard.

Yeah, poor completion percentage. Id rather have Kerwyn running from the wildcat haha.
camp body I suspect

Unless the Bears win the NFC North this year, Glennon will be available since they drafted Trubisky. I'd like to see them pick up Bortles if he doesn't have a bounce back year. Good QB in a bad system with a bad line. Then there's always the Grarapplo sweepstakes. Plenty of time.

I agree, plenty of options next year but also lots of competition. Getting someone in the system now could help avoid wasting valuable resources next year. I am pretty sure they planned on drafting Bortles but the jags over drafted him by a mile.

I see the Cards resigned Chris Johnson the running back to a 1 year. Our best pass blocking back and veteran backup to the other Johnson. Great move...

OffRoadRage Norm already planning the tailgate meal for the Monday Night Football season opener against the Cowboys. Are we there yet?! :bounce2:
