Thanks Calgary!

We had our best sleep of the trip thanks to SteveO and his families wonderful hospitality. Also thanks to MountainPete for all of the help and for finding the adapter we need to get a little more range out of the Verizon card.

It was also great to meet up with the guys from Rocky Mountain Cruisers at the Keg last night for a few brews and some cow.

Kyle was there with a SWEET diesel double-cab with a load of ARB goodies and 9.0 Michelin XL's. Major drool factor for me.

Canada has been incredible so far, with awesome people and beautiful views. The ice climbing was great and we had a lot of fun with several routes.

Glad to put some faces to some (screen)names. Glad the dog and kids left you alone and allowed you to sleep, it's more than we usually get from them. Enjoy the rest of your trip. .....Steve

Inuvik and crossing the Arctic Circle

We are at the end of the Dempster and spending a few days going through video, images and catching up on some emails.

The Dempster was pretty intense and we were the last vehicle through Eagle Plains before they closed the highway. Visibility came down to a few feet at points.

We leave for Tuk on Monday, driving up the frozen river to the Arctic Ocean.

We have kept it a little quiet to this point, but DesertDude (Pasquale) has been along on the trip capturing everything in HD video. Now that we have a little clip to share, here it is

We have also updated the blogs: Blog Update

This was a solo vehicle trip. It has been a little tight in the quad-cab with all of us, but we have a good system now.

We made it all the way to the ocean and are on our way home. We are going to do a fun trail in northern Washington on the way back and a stop at Easter Jeep too.

It would be great if a few of you could make it, even to have a few beers after the meal.

Location:
Everett Keg
205 East Casino Road
Everett, Washington

Located in central Everett one block off of Highway 526, just off of Evergreen Way.

Ya'll are way to fast dude. Here I was moving into a family entertainment weekend...and all that can entail, thinking there was a little time to extend the invite to stop and rest on the way south just before the border...

Next time.

Pasquale, now you have a summer and a winter in the north to talk about. How may fishing trips left?

Very cool and very inspiring. Really makes me get into gear to make the Alaska Cruiser Trek next time.

Thanks for all of the kind words guys.

We ran Isabelle Lake trail in Washington yesterday with Seth from ARB (in a solid axle KJ) and a few other Jeeps and Rovers.

I could really get into Washington wheeling. Very fun and a nice change from all the years of desert.

We are rolling through Ontario, Oregon right now on the way to Easter Jeep Safari.

Rob,

You weren't in Prescott two days ago? There was a Cruiser in the Frontier Village (driving away from me) that looked a lot like yours (IH8MUD sticker too)....

If you are in the area, we need to meet for beers and Toyota talk post-haste

Nope, wasn't me, though I'd rather have been there than at work... I'd be shocked if there was another dune-beige 80 out there, but I'll give you a buzz next time I head up that way!

It was either beige or silver with a snorkel, lift, tires and a BIG IH8MUD sticker on the back window.

Always fun to see other cool rigs around our "little" town
