Installing the ARB Sahara bumper and enjoying the Australian language translation. Figured out what packers are too.

So, in the top left and right corner of the bumper, there is a hole, probably about 7/8" or so, as shown in the picture below.

What are these holes for? CB Antenna? FLIR device? VISOR GPR?

Probably for an aerial... or side rails. Large-ish antennas are widely used on front bumpers in Australia.

Bull bars (roo bars in Aus) have them on either side about there. No bull bar on yours, so a hole is there instead.

I think those holes are to connect bumper to their sliders.

Antenna mount, keeps it out of the headlight beam (regulated also in Australia, and in europe). On the ones with the bull bar the Ariel mount is higher up on the bar its self. Normally VHF antennas are fairly long

Please post photos when finished installing the Sahara, thanks!
I will. Unfortunately I’m waiting for some rubber pieces to complete the install. They messed up the order.

@musthave what model LC are you installing the Sahara on? I read in the ARB brochure they are only available for <2015 models. Pity if so, I think I would rather one of these over the Summit for my 2016.
It’s on a 2010 cruiser. I’ve read the same thing regarding 2015 and later models. Apparently you have to use the summit style bumper for those.

Any updates on the bumper install / pics? I'm about to pull the trigger on the Sahara and would love to see more pics. You happy with it?

The bumper installation finished nicely. I am super happy with the way I decided to mount the winch controller too. I ended up sandblasting the whole thing, then powdercoating it. It makes a beautiful contrast with the black.

Looks nice , I have had ARB on other trucks but ARB has cheaped out on the bumper in my opinion and there all the money ... They could have done a no cut streamlined more aesthetically pleasing job on this bumper .
For my 2019 LC I just placed a order for the TJM T13 bull bar , very similar to the ARB but I think they took it to the next level one piece , no need to cut pieces off your old bumper , they have the integrated headlight washers .
I hear nothing but good things about there coatings , ARB has fallen off a bit , I have seen a few local guys with rust in all the nooks and crannies .

Any ideas how to get an ARB bumper these days?? Having no luck going through my local 4wd shops (that are advertised as ARB distributors) and forget about getting anything directly from ARB. I need a sales rep / distributor that can source an ARB Sahara. It shouldn't be this difficult to buy a bumper. I'd appreciate any advice. Please PM me.

Did you call them?
