Gents,

been searching without luck trying to find a picture of an 80 series with the "new" ARB LED lights. They don't seem to be compatible with the ARB bumper (Bullbar).

Did anyone try to install one of these things?

Not an 80 but gives you an idea as to the fitment on an arb bumper

This one from the philippines not an ARB bumper i think ironman. I'm not sure if the led light is ARB brand.

I think SoCalFrank still makes and sells the mounts that house phillips DRLs. His company is called yodateq. Good looking units and I bet much brighter than anything ARB has.

Disregard my last statement. I thought you meant ARB had replaced the turn signal indicators on new bumpers with an LED type.

So the bars on an ARB bumper are spaced less apart horizontally than ironman or TJM. I might end up having to build a bracket and push the lights a little further out and mount them.

I have the lights, I'll upload a picture so you guys can see what I'm talking about

Depending on how big they are, you may be able to get away with slotting the mounting tabs and using a couple of washers to move the lights up and forward enough to fit. That's what I had to do to mount my Hella 4000s many mooms ago.

This, I had to make some simple tabs to let the lights clear the upper portion of the bar.

I don't have a picture handy, but I didn't extend the mounts out like that. The lens on mine was more or less flush with the forward most part of the lower tube. There was about a 1/4" between the housing and the upper tube, but they fit and I never had a problem out of them.
