ARB front bar install: to/through where does it bolt? (1 Viewer)

Looking to put an ARB front bar on my 2006. The front-facing frame tabs have been cut off. Would this prevent the bar's installation?

I am sure someone who has done this more recently will chime in, but from what I remember on the 02 and later models you needed to cut those tabs off anyway, maybe someone had on installed in the past?

You talking about the frame horn endcaps that have two nuts in them?

Yes, the endcaps and IIRC they have those double captured nuts?

Yes, you do need the top capture nut, but the bottom one is cut off.

Would it be reasonable or problematic at all to install said bar without that front horn?

I don’t think it would be problematic because the two bolts from the tie down points on each frame rail also hold the ARB chassis brackets on.
