Parts Express: the #1 source for audio, video & speaker building components has a lot of nice corners, trim, handles, etc... for building speaker boxes that work equally as well for drawer fabrication. Also, you can buy rollerblade bearings on Ebay fairly cheap if you want to build your own fridge slide.

I have the newer ARB slide for the 50 quart but my 43 Engel fits just fine. It would take some time but with some angle iron and the rollerblade bearings it could be replicated. For me, it was a matter of time. My time to fabricate it is worth a lot more than I paid for the slide. I bought mine used off Ex Po too.

Home made drawer slide is coming along nicely..more pics when I'm done.

Well done! I take it you have an extra compartment behind the drawer/fridge?

Yes, the entire width of the system facing the 2nd row is hinged. This is the view from the 2nd row with seat folded down.

Coming along nicely. I decided to make it modular, with the ability to swap from drawer to fridge slide in less than 5 mins.

More pics when done.

Nice, which slides are you using on the drawers to make them removable like that?

Thx. They are just regular 24" Home Depot slides. I bought two sets, and am only using the rails from the 2nd set. This way I can just switch the drawer/slide out at any time. Completely tool free.

Very Nice!

Guys

How are those of you with fridge slides handling power cord management when pulling the fridge in and out?
