I bought ARB dual compressor. I saw there is location and slee bracket for drivers side of car. My car is V8 diesel, EU market. When I tried to locate it on top of fuse box I could not close the hood. Next problem is fuel filter. Should I relocate it? How do you manage to instal it on this side of car?

The Slee bracket locates it behind the fuse box, between the fuse box and the brake booster.

It looks like you have some other factory equipment in that spot that would prevent you from using this location. The us petrol version doesn't have that.

Well I was afraid that might be the case... I will put it on passanger side then. I will post photo after install. Thanks for info

Slee also has an accessory tray that might work. I used it for other (electrical) stuff, but it makes a nice mounting base on the other side of the engine bay.

Today I made (with friend of mine) tray for compressor. On passanger side of EU market car. Air filter box removed for easy work. First we made brackets on existing bolts. On photo you can see first one of two brackets. After that I install EVA foam (leftover from boat project) to prevent vibration. Foam will provide 5 mm of space. After that friend of mine weld the plate to brackets. Plate sits on top of foam. After test and fitting (was suuuuuper close to bonet) I decided to make smaaaaal dent in bonet. To prevent contact compressor/hood. Also grinded plate on few spots (was wide and long) I have to say that pattern of holes, provided by ARB, is WRONG. I have to widen the holes a bit. Tomorrow I will take tray to sandblasting after that will put some primer and paint. I made my custom air hose because I do not have manifold kit. At the beginig I was thinking to install compressor in the rear but I have woofer and instalation with cables and panel seems like pain. (Maybe I am wrong) After cosmetics I will install cable and test the comoressor

I'm liking the reuse of the materials.
Well, I don't have a lot of options. I live in Europe but not European Union. Most companies don't want to send goods to my address. But when they do, the shipping is more than item itself + taxes and duties... I had fun doing this tray from scrap

You can rotate that air out fitting from the manifold on the compressor to provide more hose clearance.
Of course to do so is some disassembly of the compressor, it took me about 30 min if I recall.
Nice bracket. I’m going to make one over Christmas.

There was a guy on the 200 facebook group that posted this ... but I forget where he got the bracket from.

nice. I like the ingenuity.

I think alot of the OZ crowd likes to put the compressor in the rear interior behind the plastic paneling.
They even fit a small tank sometimes.

I think it must be super loud in the cabin for passengers....but it seems to work well for them.
