i just need some detailed pics of someones arb for a 60 before i buy, i want to make sure it doesnt look to bulky like a plow or something i have a blueish gray 86

There is a new style of ARB bumpers..is that what your asking?

Unless someone told you, I doubt that you would notice the difference in the two. If you park them side by side there is a difference but if one drove by on the road now one would notice. I have the new one and it installs different but looks basically the same. just different angles.

The one in post #4 is the old orignal style.

The one in post #5 is the newer version. It may not be the newest version though.

Lower profile and the extra bar.

If you look at where the turn signals are on the FJ62 below the head lights there is a bar that blocks them.

It looks like he put the FJ60 headlights in a FJ62 and went to the newer bumper. The turn signal are now on the side of the headlight.

Two different trucks going down the same trail. The first is a 88 62 with old bumber and the second is a few seconds later with a 84 60 and the new bumper. If you look in the background of the first pic you can see the 60 peaking throught the trees.

The old bumper is more straight up and down while the new one has been slightly leaned back to decrease damage in a head on.

D'Animal, thats one interesting view of the light change but much easier to just have to trucks. It was the only one I could find on the same spot with the same angle

I have 7 Land Cruisers.

Side view. Wish it was closer. The closer white truck has the old bar and its straight up and down. The third truck has the new one and if you look its slanted more. Like I said, its not as if its a new concept and you probably wouldnt notice if it just drove by.

I rearched the springs 5 or so years ago. I have 1 1/2 extended shackles on the front and 2 1/2 on the rear so that when its loaded it is not dropped in the rear. SROR rear bumper and sliders. Way to many mods to list on a thread i am in the process of hijacking.
