I have an 2002 Tacoma with an ARB bumper. I was wondering if anyone has some pictures of one that has been trimed to loose some weight and to clear bigger tires. My front end sets almost 1.5" lower than the rear with the stiff OME springs.

I assume you're referring to the heavy OME coils, and they're not really rated to carry the arb. They're actually the same load carring capacity as the softs ~500 lbs, just taller at first (from arb directly, see ttora & yotatech)

By trimming, the coils won't gain the 1.5" back. You'll either need to go to tundra coils or the spendy coil over options like Sway-a-way, Kings, Downey, etc. They have higher spring rates ~650 or so, and are adjustable. Your last option is to start adding in trim packers or preload spacer.

Good luck

Do a search for " ARB Bumper mod" or ARB prerunner bar" on the 80 series forum....mine will pop up. I made it into a prerunner bar and shaved off about 25 lbs.

I talked to christo because he is who I got the kit from. He said the rear springs lift is a little higher than the front and that is will always sit stink bug, which is fine with me. I was thinking about getting a synthetic cable. I wanted input and a opinions and experiences as I have never used them. Also do I have to get a hawse fairleed or will my roller work. I think by doing that I will lighten the front up enough to get a little bit better performance from the springs.

you'll want a hawse for the synthetic rope....

I had to go with a set of $$Donahoe front coilovers to bring up my front end.
I have a Warn m8000 w/ARB bumper. I did however just install synthethic cable and an aluminum hawse. I'm very happy with the results. My Tacoma is
a 2000 TRD ex-cab 4x4. Stay away from OME if you plan on having this kind of weight up front. My 2 cents...

I went with OME in the first place because I can't afford coilovers. Would Tundra springs be a good solution? I hear they are stiffer. Anybody selling used CO?

It all depends on who you heard it from, there's too many variables. Those who have run both claim the tundras are softer (attributed to the progressive rate probably). I started a new thread with a link, refer there for more info.

That guy had Stock Springs on an 05 - here's mine with the Heavy Duty OME's and a 1/2" Aluminum Spacer on the coil over up front.

Got the kit from TOY-TEC ( MUD vendor)

I am going to pull out my brothers plasma cutter in the next few weeks to fix the tire rub. As far as the sag I am going to get a synthetic line later this month and then save up for some hoes and have them by next summer. I went wheelin this weekend and there where a couple of times the OME's just didn't hold the weight(SCARY). I loved them before I added the winch and the springs started to sag, but they are about 12000 miles in and are just not doing what I want.
