Hey guys, I'm ready to purchase a new bumper for my 04 LX. Decided I don't want to go with ARB as I don't want to cut the frame. From some searching it looks like Ironman will install without any cutting. Any other options? Anyone installed a TJM recently? Appreciate the help!

I have an ARB and didn't have to cut the frame.... is it year specific? I believe the frames didn't changed

Ok. Well, all of the install videos I've seen show cutting two brackets to install. Maybe it is model specific? I'm not sure. Was just going off what I could find. Maybe someone else can help.

I think it depends on what year you have. Most Bull bars with the tabe on the top will need to be cut however for the hoot to list properly on an LX. based on your avatar you are in an LX correct?

TJM T13 on my 2003 LC and the mounts fit perfectly over the frame horns without issue. Really need someone to chime in if LX is the same.
Ironman on my 04 LX. Love it. No cutting needed.

Thank you! Looks fantastic. Exactly what I want. One of the install videos I found on this bumper said he had to fab some spacers for it to fit correctly? Did you find this to be true on yours?
I know the video your talking about. I didnt need them on my, I believe the guy either did something wrong, or the kit was changed - I forget which one. I installed mine last december, and it was fine and fits perfect (i think)

Problem solved! Now if I could just figure out how to get my bike rack on my thru bumper hitch!
I installed on my '05 LX last Christmas. I cut off the end caps per the instructions. No clue if it would have fit without doing that.

Aren't the ARB, Ironman and Dobinsons similar design? They look awful similar in pictures. (w/ minor changes like the fog lamps)
Similar yes, but not the same. For instance ironman comes with the fog lights and led signal lights included and installed. Arb has a tubular bar that goes around the front if the bumper, ironman does not.
Because of similarities and price I went with ironman. Very happy with it, so much so that I got the foamcell pro suspension when my ahc died
