I'm running OME stock height springs with Tokico shocks and about to pull the trigger on an ARB Deluxe and a 12k winch. Is anyone running this setup or something similar? I want to be sure the suspension can handle the extra weight up front. And if you are running this sort of setup, can you post pics? Thanks!
Hmm, it will certainly drop in the front.
The weight of the winch and bumper is all the way in front of your car. So momentum is big.
If you want to keep your stock height, you will have to upgrade your front springs.
I have OME850J springs in the front and I have the same height as another 80 with 850 springs without ARB and winch.

Sounds like I may need to go with a suspension upgrade / lift to accommodate the extra weight. I don't think the Tokicos are meant to do more than stock height. Thanks
Springs are first to look at. Shocks could be ok because one step stiffer spring will set you back at stock height with your ARB and winch. So no difference for the shocks with normal use. When you will do a little bit more serious offroading, then the shocks will limit up travel and you will need longer shocks.
My set-up is like yours, but with a AUX battery, too.
The stock height OME coils have the capacity. What you likely won't have with the Tokicos up front is enough rebound dampening, although without the extra battery you might skate by.
I went with Tokicos all around on my 861/862 coils, but found I did need something else. But it's the shocks not the coils. I went with the OME Nitro Sport shocks, but any other stock height robust off-road shock may work. The Nitro Sports were harsh at first, but settled down. I left the Tokicos on the rear. This is actually a nicely balanced setup despite the mismatched shocks.
OME stock height springs + nitrocharger sport shocks
I just installed a Metal Tech bumper and Harbor Freight winch and the stink bug is pretty noticeable now. It does ride much better with the extra weight so I might just add a set of spacers up front and call it good.
