Does anybody know where I can find an ARB Bull Bar with side steps and guards on the fenders? Ive been calling around today and have had no luck sourcing the fender guards. Ive seen a few in pics and videos of land cruisers like this one:

Custom 1984 FJ60 V8 by TLC - YouTube

Any recommendations?

If worst comes to worst you could order from Australia. ARB over here stocks the fender guards and side steps as regular stock.

In doing my research i found that most folks were making their own and tied them into Rock sliders vs the steps that Arb put on theirs. Seems like it would be pretty easy for someone who can bend tube to crank out.

Man a Fre does sell them though. I think they are around $700

Found some answers. Thought I'd go ahead and post just in case someone searches this topic in the future.

ARB has discontinued making the fender guards for the 60 series. I speculate that this is because while the guards were a perfect fit for the FJ60, the exhaust system had to be modified to make them fit on an FJ62.

I hear there may still be some old stock sitting around in places. Man A Fre is checking their warehouse for me but I'm not optimistic. I'll have someone local fab something similar if i can't find an ARB pair.

I'll have to wait a few weeks until I have some more money saved up since I just spent it all buying my 60, but would anyone be interested in trying to do a group buy from ARB Australia?

SO. . . the plot thickens. Unwilling to take no for an answer i called Australia tonight (not the easiest thing to do from a cell phone in Arkansas. . . had to get my credit card involved).

1.) The folks at ARB Australia headquarters are friendly and helpful. I think the pleasant accent helps. I spoke with a gentleman named Jessie who confirmed that the side guards and steps i want are still available, and that some glitch in the system showed that they were no longer in production. He promised to have someone from the USA office call me the next morning.

2.) This morning I had contact with TR Burris i the USA Office (a very nice guy). He confirmed that they still have the side rails and steps in stock, however they may not fit the current bumper that is being produced. I'm in the process of finding out whether I can purchase the old style bumper to go with the steps and rails.

I REALLY want this bumper/rail/step set. I'm hoping I don't have to make any compromises on this rig. I'll post more info as it develops tomorrow.

Call/email Kurt at Cruiser Outfitters...he's the man. perhaps he can help with the ARB trackdown, and he's one of the best, friendliest, knowledgable Cruiser vendors out there.

I don't know about the USA 60's but the aus 60's they change the gearbox mount in 85 an some of the siderail/step mounted to that it's just something to keep in mind ur 60 mite not b like that but the 60 here r

This is in fact the case. ARB does still offer the side rails/steps (ARB# 4410010) however they will only work with their older bumper which is no longer available in the US and Aussie. If you were able to track down one of the old style bars (most likely going to be used as they have been discontinued for 4-5 years) we could get you the side rails/steps to match. Unfortunately their current sliders/steps (ARB# 4410020) are that only (steps/sliders) and their new front bumper (ARB# 3410100) won't accept the older side rails. The easiest option for those with new style bumpers (often called the Dakar) would likely be to have a set of side rails made by a local fab shop to match your sliders and bumper, it shouldn't be a complicated job and would result in a near identical look to the older ARB offering imo.

Hope that helps!

I also spoke to ARB on Tuesday. The gentleman told me that they do have the clamps for attaching the side rails to the bumper available as a separate item. I'll post the part number when I get to work.
