Talk about a room with a view, its hard to believe how close the campground is to the sound, it couldnt have been much more than 30 feet from the waters edge.

Incredible trip!

I want to start with saying THANK YOU to Heather and Brian for putting on such a wonderful presentation that took a great amount of time to prepare and it surely showed their efforts

AGAIN THANK YOU!!!!!

We will follow-up with a trip report shortly along with plenty of photos, but not all of them, some of you should see them soon though....TT(?)

I hope everyone had a safe drive home and had little to no complications. Al and I were last of the bunch and I lead him to I-40W from I-540.

It's trips like these that makes all my efforts over the past 4 years worthwhile...and just increases my urge to grow and promote ONSC as a great club, and it's because of all of you all that have made that happen.

Look forward to another great trip in the near future!

funny you should mention stitches .... well be heading to the vet in the AM for a few in brodi's leg. Looks like a blast. Hope everyone arrives home safe and cant wait to see all the pics.

Glad everyone had a good time. I hope to make the next one.

Just to echo Greg's comments, it was an awesome time. Brian and Heather did an incredible job putting this year's Spring Tide Ride together. Whoever takes over next year sure has a tough act to follow!

Well after 8 hours and some change i'm back home..... finally.
I must admit the two racing slicks I have on the front of the rig made the last part of the trip home interesting. :grinpimp:

Once again thanks to Brian and Heather for making the trip possible and getting Andrea to all the light houses. I'll have my pics up by tomorrow and I can't wait to see some of Jerry's.

This was one of the most relaxing (not counting the two huge drives there and back) three days i've had in a long time.

It's 1am and i'm going to bed.

This was one of the most relaxing three days i've had in a long time.

Stephanie and I were saying the exact same thing on the way home.

Brian and Heather, you two did an outstanding job. Ya'll made the whole trip stress free with all the planning and excellent dinners.

Can't wait for the next trip!!

:clap::clap:

Enjoy

You all look like you had a great time! I forgot to grab the itinerary when i left Duck to go to Hatteras, so i ended up missing you all. i'm pretty positive that i passed you guys who were driving the 40's (first one was driving, other two were trailered). i did catch the wave from the first 40 and waved back, but i don't know if you could see me through my windshield. we ended up driving on the beach and fishing some off of ramp 49, checked out the lighthouse, and fished some off the sound somewhere north of frisco or avon. we didn't catch any fish though and i almost got stuck in the sand leaving ramp 49 (didn't air down my tires). on the way back to Duck, i passed mtbcoach in his monster tube-doored FJ as he was heading down to Frisco. don't know if any of you made the long drive up to Corolla on saturday, but i saw a couple of nice 80's on the beach when we drove 12 North to the border. again, we were empty handed trying to fish there as well, but we did see a guy who drove a well-built Sami catch a 2 1/2 foot shark.

again, wish i could have met up with you guys...definitely look forward to it in the future.

Yep, that was us. Seems you were passing us throughout the whole weekend! We were North of ramp 49 on Saturday for most of the day, then headed up 12 past Corrolla, but didn't go all the way up to VA line.

I do want to thank everyone who attended on a great turnout and great comraderie for the entire weekend. Planning the event got a little tricky, and I know we didn't follow the itinerary to the letter, but if I have learned anything about this group, is that we are flexible.

Since it was such a great weekend, just hanging out was a great "activity", that was not on the itinerary. As was the alternator fix on Saturday, but it couldn't be a cruiser event, without some sort of fixing going on.

looks like you all had a great time and perfect weather! I hate i missed it. I was on the other side of the state wheeling with some folks that had driven over 20 hours to visit the NC Mountains. Next time i hope i can join you all.

Brian next year you should plan on what you are going to break so we can already have the extra part :grinpimp:
