Sorry for the delay in posting pics. Toyota Trails "requests" to not post pics and/or stories which may be published in the publication. Now that its been published, I can post some of the pics I took that they didn't select for the publication.

Enjoy...

Yeah, I thought at least one of those was worthy. Maybe they wouldn't print well in the mag, who knows.

Thanks for the positive comments, its easy when the event is well organized, fun and in a spectacular environment...

Based on what I was reading, sounds like you folks kept moving north over several days, some of that was on the beach runs.

Wondered what the folks with the tow rigs were doing? Did they double back to grab the tow rig/trailer? (Was thinking mostly of the Corolla section where I "think" everyone just kept going north and not sure if you came out somewhere on VA side somehow?

Just thinking ahead to next year... not 100% sure my pickup is reliable enough that I feel comfortable on a 500+ mile round trip on its own. That is one reason I am starting to drive it around town more / want anything that IS going to go wrong, happen NOW.

My other option is to pull it there behind the tow rig and just use it for beach travel... or take the dodge or borrow dads tundra.

The article and pics convinced me this trip is #1 priority next spring!

Sam, tow rigs were left in camp and the cruisers were driven around Hatteras. On the last day they were driven up to corolla and left in a parking lot and then the cruisers driven on the beach the rest of the way. I'm sure though that the truck wouldn't have any problem making the trip.

It'll be great to have you along Marshall!

Somebody's gotta make the Ro-tel. :p

Anyone into Cruisers and the great outdoors is welcome!! In fact, anyone from "The Bluegrass State" would be welcome with opened arms! Put it on the calendar for next year and make your reservations early - this is going to be a big ride next year I have a feeling!

Depending on some details, it may be soon... Details to be worked out. We'll make sure you're notified...

Don't know if I'm the last one to see it, but the pic of Greg's and Ramon's trucks are on the TLCA wallpaper page. Pretty cool pic Jerry.
Greg's 80 and Ramon's 40 at OBX 2009.webp

Thanks Clint. I didn't know it was on the wallpaper page, that is cool. Sometimes the nice pictures are just a matter of patience...
